The Unlife Wars
The Unlife Wars was the name given to a world-spanning conflict that spelled the end of the third era and almost the extinction of life itself.
The major threat during the Unlife Wars were massive unlife armies led by entities known as the 13 Liches, powerful unlife beings of godlike power.
During the course of the wars, several Lords of Orhan and other gods died and much of Myaasia was laid to waste, but in the end the liches were defeated or resealed.
There are still many areas in western Myaasia and around the ruins of Baldemar with an extremely high unlife presence, and the area of Zorim is said to still be under the firm control of unlife.
On of the most complete accounts of the Unlife Wars can be found in the work of Benjamin Black, a historian from the distant island of Derimir, who has over several years compiled many first hand accounts into the Chronicles of Destruction.
