And thus Am, scion of the eldest elvish family, had come to acquire a piece of that legendary artifact, yet there were two more pieces, and their holders sought to destroy Him for they wanted the power for themselves.
And for long years He had to avoid them, for they, who were called the Hooded Wizards, could not be destroyed by normal means. Finally He devised a plan to force them into physical bodies so they could be defeated.
And He challenged them to battle in the utter north where the frost never leaves, and He was aided by the three greatest arcanists of the time, who were Lady Celia Liamyn, the Archwitch Naredia Dy’Nein and His own wife, Shandril Shessair-Dana, the Lady of Fire, along with several others loyal to his cause.
And while Am worked his magic and forced them to take on mortal bodies and took the battle to them, the Lady Mages worked to combine the three pieces of the artefact to form a whole.
And the Hodded Wizards fought back, for they were still very powerful, but Am was stronger and prevailed. But when the Lady Mages had finished their incantations and the artefact was again as one, there was a blinding flash of light and Am took the artefact and smote the Hooded Wizards with the power of the gods.
And thus Lord Am took His rightful place among the Lords of Orhan and let praises be sung in His name!
