Information:
In the third era, Greyre was counted among the pantheon of evil gods, the Lords of Charon. Thus it came as a surprise to everyone, when it became known that Greyre had slain the lich Clagor, who had just conquered the Northern Empire. Greyre and his followers even took part in the Battle of the Gods on the side of the Hosts of Orhan.

For his deeds he has earned the grudging respect of many not the least of which is the Church of Reann, but Greyre stopped short of joining the Lords of Orhan themselves, and has no affiniations with any group of gods today.

Greyre has retained all of his previously held portfolios, but when previously his assassins pursued members of “good” organizations almost exclusively, he has opened the ranks of his followers for any who don’t adhere to the law too strictly. It is not yet clear how suitable targets are chosen, but his assasins seem to be able to reach many places thought to be invulnerable.

When appearing among his servants he usually takes a nonconspicious form, either that of a shadow, or a drow dressed in black.

According to legend he used to be the captain of Durals personal drow guard in the second era, before gaining godhod under unexplained circumstances. Some legends claim that he found a way to permanently kill one of the Lords of Orhan.

The only temple to Greyre on Derimir is located in the drow city of Gohem.
