Myaasia
The largest continent on the world - at least on the “western” hemisphere - is Myaasia itself, it is usually called “The Mainland” by inhabitants of the Thousand Islands
Myaasia is a vast continent that can be roughly divided into several regions:
Central Myaasia
The lands surrounding the Inner Sea were once controlled by the Central Kingdom with its capital in Vermol. During the Unlife Wars, Vermol was conquered first by the Northern Empire’s Uruk-Hai hordes and later razed almost to the ground by the army of Xodur. Vermol has been destroyed multiple times in the past and it is very likely that it will be rebuilt again, as the area with its many lakes and streams is considered one of the most fertile in all of Myaasia.
The one notable exception are the Glass Plains several days march south of Vermol. This is a wide area scarred in the Magewars at the end of the second era. Wild magic abounds here and the environment is hostile to most forms of life.
Located in the Inner Sea is a large island, called The Central for unknown reasons. A small straits seperates it from the mainland at the site of the city of Abur. In the centre of the island there is a medium sized mountain reach, on the highest point of which lies the Black Citadel, once the seat of the Dark Lord Krao, now the home of Crog.
The Central is also where the Hall of Navigators is located.
Central Myaasia is served by the Askasi Detenii navigators.
Northern Myaasia
Most of northern Myaasia is a barren waste with not much more than snow and ice.
Most of the north was taken up by the Northern Empire, with its capital in Zorim. The lands of the Empire were conquered by the armies of the lich Clagor during the unlife wars and remained in the hands of unlife for over a year, and there are many scattered pockets of unlife there still. Consequently the human and demihuman population there has been almost eradicated. The northernmost town still inhabited by humans is the small settlement of Zosa.
Far to the east of the former Empire’s territory lies the small kingdom of Askalon. Though Askalon was attacked by a small detail of Clagor’s army, it was able to repulse the attack at great cost and remains a bastion of life in the northern lands.

Eastern Myaasia
Eastern Myaasia is all the area between Askalon in the north, the Great Desert in the south, the Gap in the West and the Unreachable Sea in the east.
The Gap was the easternmost outpost of the Central Kingdom. From there the Great Road leads all the way to the coast.
Along the way lie the ruins of the city of Baldemar. Baldemar was once a large trade city but it was razed to the ground by the armies of Prul-Gar after enduring more than four years of siege. Though the lich himself perished in the battle and his army was scattered, unlife is still numerous in the area.
A few days further east there once was the small town of Zerim. It is said, that this was the site where the lich armies had been imprisoned aeons past, and also where they broke free from their wards. The site is today guarded by the church of Reann who is said to hold vigil over any evils that are said to be still buried beneath the place.
Still further east, at where the path to the northern kingdom of Askalon leaves the Great Road, there is the heaviy fortified Last Inn. Though the Great Road is not as widely travelled as before the Unlife Wars, the Last Inn has been rebuilt to provide a relatively safe haven to passing caravans.
North of the Great Road lies a wide area simply known as the Great Plains. It is home to the savage Sagath peoples. The Sagath used to raid all the settlements along the Great Road, but their numbers were greatly reduced in the Unlife Wars and they are hardly any threat today.
The city of Illianin lies on the Great Road at the eastern end of ther Plains and at the mouth of the Jon river.A few miles up the river there is the site of the great Battle of Jon River, where Chondra made her stand against the armies of Xanathar and slew the lich. Consequently, Illianin is one of the few places in eastern Myaasia to survive the Unlife Wars relatively unscathed and it has seen a significant influx of refugees and has grown in size several times over.
In the third era, the Great Road continued beyond Illianin to the great city of Carse, but during the Period of Destruction, the population of Carse to a man fell victim to a plague and nobody travels there anymore. Rumours speak of a cult of Nehaya using the ruins for their sinister purposes.
Northeast of Illianin there is only the Great Forest a vast expanse of woodland infested with goblins and the small town of Myritin. The fate Myritin suffered during the Period of Destruction is currently unknown.
Eastern Myaasia is served by the Duruni Olkanane navigators.
Southern Myaasia
The eastern half of southern Myaasia is covered by the Great Desert. It is said that the Great Desert was created during the Magewars, when a portal to a plane of fire went out of control. Legends speak of fabled cities from as far back as the second era, buried beneath the sands. One of these cities – the ruins of Tessilya was discovered late during the third era, but knowledge of the location was lost again during the Unlife Wars.
The western half of southern Myaasia is covered by deep, uncharted jungles.
Nomeikos is a small island off the coast of southern Myaasia. It is here that the Great Library, the greatest library known to exist in all of Myaasia can be found. The Library is guarded by the famous Changramai warriors.
Southern Myaasia is served by the Ghandemai Durii navigators.
Western Myaasia
Western Myaasia is a diverse country made up of numerous small baronies and dutchies with no central government.
It is here that the Battle of the Gods, the final Battle of the Unlife Wars took place. In this Battle the armies of the liches Kul-Thor, Chrotos and Thronar were almost completely annihilated and the site of the battle is a popular destination for pilgrims from all over Myaasia.
Though the overall unlife infestation is very low in western Myaasia today, much of the land was devastated by the liches’ armies prior to the battle, leading to famines that killed many, so the land is very sparsely settled.
Western Myaasia is served by the Trei’de Ferwer navigators.
