Information:
Kieron is the god of festivals, including the performing arts (music, plays, poetry). He plays a stringed instrument called the Quindera, and has a hypnotic singing voice. He is called upon to bless wine and ale (and to aid in recovery from hangovers).
Also a prankster, he would often pose as his twin Jaysek, causing mischief and confusion. Although Kieron's clothing tastes are quite varied, he will often appear in a short silken tunic. He has also been known to appear in the form of an exceptionally beautiful woman.
The legends about Kieron are many, making his origin unclear, but the fact that he seemed so close to Jaysek is indication, then probably the one that holds that Kieron was his brother is true. But with Kieron, one can never be too sure.
During the Unlife Wars, Kieron and Jaysek faced the lich Furthar and managed to defeat him and his army. Jaysek was killed in the battle and Kieron was gravely wounded. Since then Kieron has been grieving for Jaysek and he has not been his old self, and some have questioned if he is still “qualified” to hold the happy portfolios he was previously associated with. This has in turn led to a surge in worship for the god Iz, though so far Iz is not believed to become a greater god anytime soon.
Overall worship of Kieron has declined in post-war Myaasia and Kieron holds considerably less power today than he did before the Period of Destruction.
Though he is reduced in power, Kieron is still worshipped all over Myaasia, so he can not in good conscience be classified as a local god.
There is a small temple to Kieron in the city of Gohem, though it attracts fewer worshippers than before.
