Towards the end of the third era, Am was a mysterious, though still famous wizard on the island of Derimir. He was said to be the older brother of the god Ra and heir to one of the oldest elven family lines still in existance.

After his disappearance several years prior to the period of destruction, he returned a short time before its end as a Lord of Orhan. It is said that his ascension was connected to a powerful artefact known as the Crown of Three, but details are not widely known.

In the Battle of the Gods, it was Am who finally faced and resealed the lich Kul-Thor and the remains of his army.

As elves didn't have a patron god among the pantheon of the third era, Am has since claimed this portfolio for himself. He also claimed the Magic portfolio of the dead god Jaysek for himself, creating the previously unheld portfolio of healing.

Am is married to the elven sorceress Shandril Shessair-Dana and the Dana line is continued through their son Ke Dana.

On Derimir, a small number of Am’s clerics have set up temple near the ancient Dana family home of Danara deep in the Greywoods area and set up a shrine there. Their goal is to eventually rebuild the castle to its former glory, but at the moment they are far from that goal.
