Wizards learning spells

Basics

Wizards learn their spells from training materials. These training materials are normally closely guarded secrets of the wizards and their organisations.

Getting materials

The main ways to get the materials is by one of the following:
-Joining a magic school and learning there.
-Finding the materials written by some other wizard. Many ancient ruins and such can contain materials written by wizards of the old.
-Convincing some other wizard to compose such material for some spell they know. This usually either entails some exchange of knowledge, helping the other wizard in some way or substantial monetary compensation.

Normal pricing for study materials

Typically the following prices are what you expect to pay for the given materials when found for sale and the csts to make such materials from spells you know.
