Holy Book of Belwar

And the time had finally come for the reckoning of the forces of Life and the forces of Unlife, and lo, the Battle of the Gods was at hand.

And Iorak was there and He led the dwarves to battle, and among his finest was also Belwar, the proud paladin. And it happened in the course of the battle that Iorak bravely assaulted the hill where Kul-Thor commanded his legions, and He challenged the lich to combat.

Magnificent was Iorak in his glory and fierce in his determination to avenge the death of His beloved wife, but alas Kul-Thor proved too strong and Iorak was forced to give ground.

And then Kul-Thor worked some foul magic and Iorak lost His warhammer and went to His knees, and there was much wailing among His followers. But in this dark moment, when Kul-Thor prepared the final blow, Belwar took up the hammer His Lord had dropped and threw it at the lich with such force that He ruined his aim and staggered him backwards.

Furious the lich turned upon Belwar, but then Kuor himself arrived and Kul-Thor turned to retreat.

Alas Iorak was mortally wounded and with His dying breath bestowed His hammer to our Lord Belwar along with His powers so He might continue the fight and lead his followers into the new era, and then He passed away.

And thus Belwar was made a Lord of Orhan, god of all the dwarves on Myaasia.

All hail Lord Belwar!
