Description
Current day Noma is not much more than a collection of tents and ramshackle buildings that the inhabitants are proudly calling a town. Though there are frequent attacks by roaming unlife, the settlers seem determined to rebuild Noma.
Their defense is bolstered by a small number of Crog paladins and a contingent of students from the Fighter School, sent by Headmistress Painia Sevier who is a stong believer in “training on the job”.
History
When Noma was invaded by imperial forces in the 11th year of Wolf, roughly half its inhabitants fled to the sea (most of them to Memee) the other half made their way to Vesper.
Alliance forces were able to briefly liberate Noma during the 5th year of Destruction, but most of the town was subsequently destroyed during the Second Invasion and the subsequent Battle of the Plains.
After the war, most of the north has been uninhabitable due to roaming unlife, but recently a few intrepid Nomans have braved the dangers and taken resindence on the Noman island again.
