Emer is a large continent south of Myaasia. There are two large Essaence streams going through the continent, effectively creating three completely separate climate zones.
The norhtern part of Emer is covered with dense jungles. It is said that in ages past a great kingdom was located here, but of its glories nothing remains. Also a dragonlord was known to reside here.
On a small island off the north coast of Emer, the city of Eidolon is located. It is faous for being the only floating city to survive the Magewars at the end of the second era.
The central part of Emer is very arid, the Essaence streams preventing rainclouds to come here. The land is mostly plains and deserts with a few nomadic people making their lives here. There were five major towns here, known as the Five Sisters, but it is assumed that most if not all of them were heavily damaged or even destroyed by the lich Furthar during the Unlive Wars.
The southern part of Emer is a barren and cold place with high mountain ranges covered in ice the whole year. A warm current from the empty sea makes the western shores barely habitable and consequently these are the only regions where small fishing villages can be found. It is not known how those fared during the Period of Destruction.
