Actions & Animations
Cerea2 has quite versatile action and animation system. This same system is used to run animations on the NPCs doing different work and so on. As players quite often want to do similar animations themselves, this same mechanism is exported to the players too.
Each animation consists of 2 part, first is the short animation name, which is used to identify the animation and the second is the “recipe” of the animation, which specifies what happens during the animation. The animation name or title is just used to identify the animation for the player, and it is not used for any other purpose. Usually it is something that allows user to distinguish different animations easily. It needs to be quite short so it will show properly on the buttons used to trigger animations (i.e. if those buttons seem to be empty, it is because the animation name is too long).
The second part of the animation is the “recipe” telling what the animation does. Its format is listed on the Format page. More about emotes and animations can be found from the Animations page, and list of all animations can be found from List page.
