Background:
Dazzle Smallgrake was a very famous wizard even before the Period of Destruction. He was especially noted for a “curse” that would randomly teleport him to whatever place he spoke the name of. The curse woul only be active periodically.
During the PoD, Dazzle earned much fame as the one who found a way to halt the progress to the plague in Carse and he was one of the few survivors of that event.
During the Second Invasion, it was his planning that led to the unlife army and the imperial invasion force decimating each other, and he has been a local hero to the people of Vesper ever since.
After the Retreat of the Academy he is considered to be by far the most powerful wizard remaining on Derimir. Following the Period of Destruction he has retired from active adventuring and built himself a “comfy” burrow in the area of Scurry Hills, close to the monster infested ruins of Cerea.
